From the Beginning
A Cup of Cold Water International was founded on mission in Haiti. The name is derived from Matthew 10:42. "And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward." Any reward we receive here, we will eventually lose. Whether it break, be stolen, or just be left behind when we leave this earth. The reward that Jesus speaks of he says you will never lose. It doesn't have to be maintained, it doesn't depreciate, it doesn't get left behind.
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. A Renewed Focus
Our focus and desire is not only to help the ones in need, but to open up another channel for others to get more involved. Our hope is that even if you choose not to partner with ACOCW-International, that you might be inspired to come in even tighter along side of us and the other missions and ministries, whether international or local, in building something together that is much bigger than ourselves.
